THESE ARE OPTIONS SPECIFICALLY FOR LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND LOW-INCOME POC/BIPOC COMMUNITIES
For the Digital Facilitator Course only (Pathway 2), we are offering a couple special options/partial scholarships.
NOTE: THIS IS AN ONLY APPLICATION PROCESS.
APPLYING FOR A SCHOLARSHIP DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY REDUCTION OF TUITION.
STEPS TO APPLY FOR A PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP:
1. First, please book a journey with us to experience the Sacred Breath Method.
2. Next, fill out our application.
3. Please send proof of financial hardship/limitation/unemployment
4. We require a written 2-3 page essay on why you want to become trained in breath medicine
+ how you plan to offer breathwork back into your community/the world.
PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP OPTIONS FOR DIGITAL FACILITATOR COURSE
OPTION 1- We are offering up to 25% Off Partial Scholarships for those with limited income. THIS REQUIRES A BANK STATEMENT STUB THAT SPECIFICALLY DOCUMENTS LIMITATIONS OR CHANGES IN INCOME AND/OR A LETTER OF RELEASE FROM EMPLOYMENT + A 2-3 PAGE ESSAY. Note: If employment resumes during your training, we ask that you please circle back and reciprocate the full value of the course to balance the energetic exchange.
OPTION 2- In the spirit of acknowledging the complexity of our times, we are offering 25% Off Low-Income POC scholarships. To apply, please document what POC/BIPOC lineage you identify with, along with submitting the 2-3 PAGE ESSAY on why you want to be training in this work. *This option is reserved for POC individuals in financial hardship, otherwise it affects how many we can give out to those in need.
FULL SCHOLARSHIP OPTIONS FOR DIGITAL FACILITATOR COURSE
OPTION 3- We offer 2 Full Low-Income POC scholarships per year. BOTH FULL SCHOLARSHIPS HAVE NOW BEEN GIVEN OUT FOR 2024! To apply for 2025, please document what POC/BIPOC lineage you identify with, along with submitting a 2-3 PAGE ESSAY on why you want to be training in this work. *This option is reserved for POC individuals in financial hardship.
TALL PARTIAL OR FULL scholarshipS will be applied to the Digital Facilitator Course tuition only. THEY DO not apply to the In-person Intensive tuition.
Final Note: We have received some emails asking what POC/BIPOC means. Now more than ever, it’s important to educate yourselves on this highly relevant civil rights topic. POC stands for “Person of Color” and BIPOC stands for “Black Indigenous Person of Color.” Both are recognized civil rights term that is broad-sweeping for many minority demographics and ethnicities.
We have implemented the POC/BIPOC scholarships for those considered minority individuals who want to become trained in breathwork, in effort to bridge barriers and divides, and also bring the craft into a diverse array of outlets and communities. We must recognize and be lucid to the fact that many spiritual arts retreats and trainings occur within a predominantly Caucasian-based environment, and we at SBA seek to dissolve this trend. Breathwork is for every single human being, no matter what ethnicity, background or walk of life they originate from.
FINAL NOTE: For others on a budget that don’t fit low income or POC criteria, we are quite flexible and do offer monthly payment plans.
